2007 Challenge Update
Image Success! Today, on a crisp, cold, sunny day, I completed my 2007 challenge to cycle 160,00 metres of vertical ascent (about 525,000 feet or one foot for every minute of the year).

Some Smaller Climbs
Image Col de Cuvery

Col de Cuvery is above Bellegarde and part of the same massif as Col de Richmond, Col de la Biche and Le Grand Colombier.

Cycling Vacations
Image Swiss Alps - Eiger and Bernese Oberland I should mountain bike more. We took a three day weekend to the car-free Swiss mountain village of Wengen - part of the unbelievably beautiful Jungfrau region - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most glaciated part of the Alps.
